في نهاية عمر سيدنا النبي يحملق رضى الله عنه، قائلا : انظر عمر، إذا قتل هذا الشخص، وربما لم يحصلوا حتى انه هدية من الله سبحانه وتعالى، وذلك قبل التصرف واتخاذ فعل من التسرع والعجلة التي قبلتها لأهواء الغضب يجب أن تستخدم بعناية.

Contoh, Belum seberapa lama hijrah dari Makkah ke Madinah, ketika Baginda Rasulullah Muhammad SAW di Madinah, setelah berjemaah sholat, tiba-tiba ada seorang penunggang kuda masuk ke Masjid dan tidak turun dari kudanya, semua Shahabat siap-siap apa lagi Sayyidina Umar رضى الله عنه, berkata: Ya Rasulallah!, Izinkan saya membunuh kafir ini telah sengaja tidak sopan menginjakkan kudanya masuk di Masjid (Baitullah). Baginda Rasulullah SAW bersabda: Sebentar ya Umar, biarkan mau apa sebenarnya orang ini. Lalu orang tersebut bertanya dengan keras; Mana yang namanya Muhammad utusan Alloh?... Baginda Rasulullah SAW menjawab: Ini Aku, kata beliau sambil melihat kepada orang tersebut. Ketika orang ini melihat Wajah Baginda Rasulullah SAW; Langsung dia loncat dari atas kudanya dan bersaksi masuk Islam. Subhanallah Walhamdulillah atas karunia dan hidayah-Nya.

Diakhir Rasulullah SAW melirik ke Sayyidina Umar رضى الله عنه, dengan bersabda: Tuh Umar, andaikan kau bunuh orang ini, mungkin tidak jadi dia mendapat karunia Alloh SWT, sebelum berbuat dan mengambil tidakan yang tergesa-gesa serta terburu-buru diterima dengan hawa nafsu amarah harus di teliti dulu.

Diambil dalam kaitan ini dalam berbagai urusan harus teliti dan menggambil langkah untuk kemaslahatan dan kebaikan, bukan untuk keperluan hawa nafsu amarah, sekalipun yang nampak didepan mata adalah menghinakan, menjijikan, mencaci atau mengancam. Dengan kesiapan untuk menghadapi berbagai urusan adalah konci kebaikan.
